a little motivation this monday

happy monday one and all. i've really been slacking lately which is why my "to do" list has become quite a few pages long. i blame the impromptu harry potter marathons, retroMTV playing reruns of the hills, and 100 plus degree weather for my..umm..procrastinating behavior.
but that is all changing today! i have some fun and exciting things up my sleeve. which unfortunately have to wait until all those things on my "to do" list get done. (note to self: find a honey to fully invest in a "honey-do" list). but still, exciting none the less. so exciting that you may be seeing my face pop up guest posting on one of my favorite ladies blogs come the end of july. see, i told you it was exciting! but more about that later this month.
so. seeing as everyone needs a little motivation on mondays, go ahead and follow suit and don't let your case of the mondays win.

happy friday! i will be spending my weekend with all of my family back together in one single place. thank you new york for lending my sister and brother-in-law to me, even if it is only for a few short days. and that sweet little niece of mine, i'm never letting her go (much dismay to grandma and paw paw of course - sorry mom and dad).

in which i keep it simple

i ramble a lot. if you haven't noticed that now well then you have been forewarned. but today i will not ramble. as i was pinning last night i found a little something that caught my eye, i printed it out, and i stuck it to my mirror in my bedroom to remind myself of it every day, first thing in the morning.

i can do anything good

So as I wondered around the blogging world, I checked out one of my favorite blogs, The Rockstar Diaries (which you totally need to go check out now!) and this video was posted in a recent blog.  Seeing as this little girl is on to something pretty great, I had to repost and share.
